Holiday!

Will be joining my parents to go China after my birthday, it has been long since I went on a holiday with my parents, the last trip was like in 2004?

I always look forward to my parents going on a holiday, not because we can get to be either home alone with no government or get to enjoy ourselves to the fullest when we are on holiday, but because I know that my parents will be able to get the rest they deserve after working so hard.

I am able to realise many of my dreams because of them, their trust, their love has enable me to do what many others cant. I really wish that a day will come, when they go on holiday with all their expenses on me, as their wish is to retire and travel around [:

movie alone [:

had some time between my 2 tuition thus I decided to watch Deathnote 2, The Last Name. The movie has nice plot and both the lead actors are so smart to have predicate what will happend and the reasons of them happending.

If I am not wrong, this is the 1st movie I watched alone. The feeling is different and I feel good watching it alone. (i am not a loner!)

Havent been in pretty good mood these days, most likely due to the lack of sleep X:

Went Indochine to celebrate Kang An's 21st birthday, I was late due to unforesee circumstance which affected me very badly. Once I reached there, they were complaining abt the waitress who showed them black face throughout their stay in the restaurant.

Since my mood was bad and her face is black, I decided to make her face blacker! I asked her over, didnt even look at her face, placed my order for lychee martini, asked for my ice water. I told her to check my friend's order too as they took freaking 20 minutes! My tone was very very unfriendly!

They served my drinks fast! Since then, that waitress dont dare to serve us but her colleague check our table constantly for orders! It was her unlucky day, especially to have met a group of CRM students and with a bad mood joan ow!

interview clinic

Went for a mock-up interview that is conducted by the SBM lecturers, they interviewed us and gave us comments both on our resume and the interview.

Their comments for me were:
1. I tend to blush when I am nervous (can't be help)
2. Need to smile more
3. Should put some plain make-up in order to stand out
4. Dont rush thru when answering questions
5. Just hightlight some points that make me important and not all the +ve points
6. Resume was very informative but still have rooms for improvements

There are some more comments that have slipped of my mind. I was very glad that Ms Woot was kind enough to go through my resume with me to help me improve on it, and she will be helping me to look through my resume before I graduate! She even thought of recommending jobs for me in his friends' company.

There was a phrase she told me that make me smile widely: "You will definitely be an asset to the company you are working for"

Watched night at the musuem yesterday, it was a funny movie but it does carry some meaning with it, it is worth the money [:

Had 2 new tuition assignments which means more allowance for me, they are all young kids. Will be starting 1 of the assignments today at 3pm. Hopefully the kids will be good [:

Finally sumbitted my application for SMU, need to gather the revalent documents soon. Which means my semster is gona end soon, it has been a pretty fast semster, in another 5 weeks time, will be sitting for my last exams in NYP.

Shall get moving with all the projects x:

Resolutions for 2007

A new year, a new beginning thus a time for us to make realistic resolutions [:

#1. Graduate with a diploma, and get into uni.
I would want to continue my studies in uni, as diploma get me nowhere in Singapore with the current standard of living

#2. Lose weight
Everyone has been asking me to lose weight and actions were taken since October 2006, have been losing and hopefully I can reach my target weight by the end of 2007 [:

#3. Save $80/month.
This means splurging less on good food and transportation e.g cab

This should be all of the realistic resolutions that I can think of now. I've got one more, but shall keep it to myself! [:

exciting countdown!

Went Chijmes for dinner before heading down to Suntec area for countdown! There were thousands and thousands of people! We managed to climb up the side staircase of Marina Mandarin as the hotel was on accessible for hotel guests only!

We climbed all the way up to the 19th storey, due to my physical ability I was the slowest climber, it was super tiring and we were rushing against time to catch the fireworks!

Since there were some time left before 0000hrs, Jason and I decided to walk around the 19th storey to cool ourselves down, and we realised that the 20th storey's window were empty! By luck, all thanks to those hotel guests, we took the lift and got ourselves landed on the 21st storey! Tried to call the rest up, but all the networks were down.

As the countdown begin, when everyone shouted '1'. The sky was filled with beautiful fireworks! They looked great in the dark sky with many colours and pattern. It was our first time enjoying the firework in comfort and we were able to catch the entire fireworks with no one blocking!

The last 10 secs of the firework display was great, there wasnt any sec that the sky was dark, everyone was admiring the firework, at the same time welcoming 2007! We shall booked a room at the nearby hotel next year so that we can enjoy the fireworks in comfort [:

Walked back HQ to collect Kenny, Victor (van bf) and Wilson's car, the walk back was funny, there were many people and cars werent able to move at all, the traffic police dont even bother. Went thomas prata for supper, many funny things happened there, after supper, Joshua, David, Kenny, Wilson, Max, Jason and I made our way to Denise's house.

Played many rounds of taidi and it was till ard 6 plus when most of them were asleep that Jason and I introduced the brain twister poker game to David and Denise to test their intelligence. Shall not mention who has is clever x:

Woke the rest up, had breakfast and home sweet home [:
